Research and Development

For SAMI, R&D is a key factor for sucess. According to our experiment in covering, we know that it is very important to control and to have a thorough knowledge of the elastomers chemistry.

That is the reason why Sami has its own research laboratory in its sister company Mérylithe company entirely dedicated in the elastomers formulation. Sami has so the power and opportunity to improve its coverings, but especially to develop new tailored coverings according to the customer's needs.

To validate our coverings, we proceed to a lot of mechanicals and chemicals tests : hardness, resistance to solvents, abrasion, resilience….

Quality assurance

Quality is permanent commitment for us . We are today certified ISO 9001 : 2000.This certification was achieved thanks to the establishment in recent years of very stringent controls.

We have full traceability of our products. Taking into account on the fact that we completely control the manufacture of our products indeed we are mastering our process from formulation to production
